Ask an Expert is an orientation program in which newly enrolled students at our University can ask their questions to experienced students—creating a peer-to-peer guidance system where students support one another. Within this program, selected experienced students, known as “Mentors,” will guide and support newly enrolled students during their transition to university life.
Experienced students who wish to support the program must submit their request before the fall semester by completing the Mentor Application Form and sending it via e-mail to pdr@kapadokya.edu.tr. In the e-mail, they should write “I would like to become a Mentor” and include their full name, phone number, department, and year of study. Application announcements are published on our University’s website under the ‘Announcements’ section. During the application period, students receive an SMS notification regarding the announcement.
After the application period ends, eligible candidates are selected. The list of students who have officially become Mentors is announced at https://ogrencidekanligi.kapadokya.edu.tr/programlar/bir-bilene-sor. The MS Teams accounts of Mentor students are listed in the tables. New students who wish to benefit from mentor support can contact Mentor students through the MS Teams platform.
