YÖKAK Student Evaluator Program
Dear Student,
As Cappadocia University, we prioritize the active participation of our students in quality assurance processes and their involvement in shaping the future of higher education. Within the scope of the Institutional External Evaluation, Monitoring, Interim Evaluation, and Institutional Accreditation processes carried out by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK), students may also take part as “student evaluators.”
This program provides students with the following opportunities:
- Gaining institutional insight by observing how universities are evaluated and managed.
- Learning about quality, accreditation, ethics, and continuous improvement processes through direct experience.
- Engaging with academics, administrators, and students from different universities.
- Adding a strong and valuable experience to their CVs.
What Is a Student Evaluator?
A student evaluator is a student who has completed the required training and is appointed by YÖKAK to contribute the student perspective to evaluation teams. Their role is to assess the student experience, student satisfaction, and services provided to students from the viewpoint of a student. For this reason, student participation is an essential component of the quality assurance processes.
Who Can Apply?
All actively enrolled associate, undergraduate, and graduate students may apply. The general requirements and expected qualifications include:
- Being enrolled in an associate, undergraduate, or graduate program and not having frozen registration.
