The Peer Support Program is a solidarity-based system in which students support one another on academic matters. The purpose of the program is to strengthen student collaboration in areas such as adapting to coursework, developing learning strategies, preparing for exams, and managing project processes. Within the scope of the Peer Support Program, new topics are not taught, and assignments or project work are not completed on behalf of the student. The support process focuses on revising and reinforcing topics already covered in class.
Successful and experienced students help their peers overcome academic challenges they encounter in their courses. This assistance is not formal instruction; rather, it is a process of sharing experiences, introducing effective study methods, and strengthening learning motivation. Peer support complements the academic activities conducted by instructors and encourages student-to-student learning.
Having difficulty in a course? Unsure how to study, organize your notes, or choose the right resources? The Peer Support Program is here to help.
Students who wish to improve their academic performance can meet with peer supporters in one-on-one or small-group sessions. These meetings focus on study methods, exam preparation, and learning strategies. All sessions are voluntary and conducted in confidence.
